Research project title

Summary of the research project: Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularized in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Step 3

Our team will evaluate all applications received. Unfortunately, note that when the number of applications is high, only applications selected for further consideration will be contacted.

Please note that it can sometimes take longer to evaluate international applications, as education systems may differ from our own. We use various tools to help assess transcript equivalence, such as the following websites (12).

Step 1

Find out more about our current projects and the Master's and PhD positions currently available in our team (keyword: Louis Gosselin). Our team also accepts unsolicited applications. Before officially enrolling in our Master's and PhD programs, interested students must have a professor agree to supervise them.

For international students, Université Laval publishes a useful website detailing the cost of living in Quebec City and tuition fees. Those admitted to the doctoral program are normally eligible for a tuition fee exemption scholarship, but this is not usually the case at the master's level. Other scholarships are indicated in the offers we circulate.

Université Laval is a French-speaking university. Applicants with a good command of French are encouraged to apply. Non-French-speaking applicants are also welcome, in which case we support students in learning French on campus.

Step 2

Prepare your application by sending us the documents below by e-mail at energie@gmc.ulaval.ca. Specific requirements are detailed in each master's and doctoral offer we publish. All applications meeting the minimum requirements are welcome. We value diversity of identity, experience and academic background.

Step 4

Our team will invite selected candidates for an online interview, during which candidates will also be able ask us any questions. It is not uncommon for another online discussion to take place afterwards. Our team will also contact the references you have provided.

Step 5

If your application is chosen by our team, a letter will be sent to you by e-mail indicating that Professor Gosselin has agreed to supervise your master's or doctoral degree, and confirming the scholarship that will be offered to you. This letter will enable you to apply for formal admission to the program.
